Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Solution Design: Drive the ideation, conceptualization, and execution of developing Accelerators and Solutions for Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) across cloud and non-cloud platforms.
- Architectural Leadership: Develop comprehensive reference architecture diagrams, blueprints, and system artifacts. Lead the architecture of integrations, ensuring alignment with cloud and non-cloud standards.
- Integration Expertise: Oversee the development of the integration layer, connecting Guidewire with third-party products such as Hyland OnBase, Nuxeo, Smart Communications, OpenText Exstream, LexisNexis, Verisk, ISO, and more.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor and lead development teams, assisting with technical initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions in a globally distributed team environment.
- Hands-On Technical Leadership: Use your deep expertise in Guidewire Edge APIs, business rules, plug-ins, and microservices to support the team in delivering scalable and robust solutions.
- Cloud Focused: Develop and scale Guidewire solutions in both cloud (Banff) and on-premise environments, ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance across platforms.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Guidewire Certification: Guidewire certified in version 10.x and Cloud certified (Banff).
- Lead Architect Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Lead Architect role, particularly in implementing Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PC, CC, BC) and integrations for US clients in Commercial and Personal Lines.
- Integration Expertise: Proven experience in building and scaling integration layers for Guidewire, integrating with third-party products like Hyland OnBase, LexisNexis, Experian/TransUnion, Verisk, and others.
- Microservices & Architecture: 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture, with a focus on designing and developing scalable solutions.
- P&C Industry Experience: 8+ years in the P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance industry, with strong expertise in product models, risks, coverages, and integrations.
- Global Team Leadership: Experience leading globally distributed project teams to deliver successful Guidewire implementations.
- Technical Expertise: Strong skills in GOSU, Java, REST, SOAP Web Services, and UML modeling (Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, etc.).
- Agile Expertise: Extensive experience leading Agile projects (including Agile Hybrid), with proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Rally.
Preferred Skills:
- Guidewire v10.x certification in configuration and integrations (Professional or ACE).
- Guidewire Cloud (Banff) certification.
- Experience working with Guidewire Professional Services.
