Guidewire Developer

Job description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.
• Must have a 5+ years’ experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration development using GOSU with PolicyCenter 7.0 or 8.0 or 10.
• Strong 5+ years of experience developing web based Java and J2EE or .Net applications.
• Good Experience leading software development teams.
• You should have a Hands on experience with Java and J2EE technologies, such as, Java Web Services, JMS, JSP, XML,JSON, JDBC etc.
• Must Develop code that conforms to the coding standards and industry best practices.
• You should Work closely with development team, BA’s, App managers, QA test leads and architects using Agile methodology.
• Must Oversee technical deliverables, coaching and mentoring of junior developers and provide technical leadership for same.
• Good Experience with Web Services SOAP and Rest
• Strong Experience with Spring Batch or Boot a plus.
• Good Experience with containerization and experience in cloud infrastructure environments like Openshift AWS, Azure is an advantage
• Must have Experience working in the security domain a plus.
• Good Experience with Oracle and SQL Server relational database technologies.
• Must have a Strong Knowledge of open source database technologies is beneficial
• You should have Experience with JBoss
• Strong Experience with continuous integration and DevOps methodologies, preferred tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, SonarQube etc.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
