Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
  • Customize Guidewire platform using Gosu, Java, and GScript
  • Integrate Guidewire applications with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and plugins
  • Participate in technical design sessions and code reviews
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and defects
  • Work with QA and business teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, code, and system architecture
  • Stay up-to-date with Guidewire product updates and industry best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 8-25 years of experience in Guidewire application development (any module)
  • Proficient in Gosu programming language
  • Strong understanding of Guidewire data model and configuration architecture
  • Experience with Guidewire Studio and other development tools
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with web services, XML, SOAP/REST APIs, and integration technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
