Guidewire Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and development of insurance system projects.
• Devise or modify technical solutions to solve problems.
• Act as an internal technical mentor and consultant.
• Design, code, test, debug and document programs.
• Collaborate with IT management, project or maintenance team members and other team members.

Required Skills

• Overall Database knowledge of Guidewire.
• Solid understanding of AWS and Guidewire Integration.
• High level understanding of Security and Infrastructure design considerations.
• Should have Java-spring knowledge.

Required Experience

• Execution experience in the full software development cycle including coding, testing, implementation, support and sunset.
• Experience leading technical requirements gathering and building solutions from internal business areas.
• designing and developing web services.
• Experience designing and building a single-page application with Angular, or similar libraries such as React, Ember or Vue.
• Experience with Java and Spring, or similar languages and frameworks.
• Experience with agile methodologies.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
