Google Cloud Engineer

You Are:

UST is searching for a Google Cloud Engineer who will work ensuring regulatory compliance regarding access, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

The opportunity:

·       Implementing and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies to enforce the principle of least privilege.

·       Defining and enforcing resource hierarchies, including organizations, folders, and projects.

·       Configuring and managing custom IAM roles and policies to grant specific access levels to resources.

·       Leveraging Google Cloud for access control with Cloud Tasks and Access Context Manager.

·       Implementing strong IAM processes and enforcing least privilege.

·       Setting up and managing monitoring and logging services Apigee

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

·       Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture, including core services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.

·       Proficiency in cloud architecture design, security practices, and compliance standards.

·       Ability to write scripts for automation and cloud operations.

·       Knowledge of network security, including VPCs, firewalls, and security policies.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

·       Strong communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
