Description

Technical/Functional Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level cloud architecture and solution design.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with GCP in enterprise environments, with a deep understanding of GCP’s full stack, including compute, storage, networking, security, and platform services.
• Strong demonstrable experience in building cloud infra foundations and landing zones from ground up (preferably for GCP) at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC design, ingress architecture, hybrid connectivity, interconnects, service mesh, and network security in GCP.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) for container orchestration, including cluster management, workload distribution, and advanced networking configurations.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and scripting with Python to automate and optimize cloud solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of policy-as-code frameworks like Sentinel and experience implementing guardrails and best practices to ensure compliance and security.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud monitoring tools, and performance optimization techniques.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing GCP well-architected principles and ensuring production-grade scalability, reliability, and security.
• Experience in analyzing on-prem workloads and providing migration recommendations and solution architecture for migration to public cloud.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams around cloud strategies.
• Some exposure to AWS will be a value addition.
• Serve as the enterprise architect responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and robust infrastructure and platform solutions on GCP.
• Design and manage guardrails, policies, and policy-as-code frameworks to enforce cloud governance and security.
• Architect Kubernetes (GKE) environments, including networking, node management, and workload distribution, to meet enterprise-scale needs.
• Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to teams on GCP capabilities, innovations, and cost-efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including infrastructure, security, and application teams, to align cloud architecture with business goals.
• Assist teams with the adoption of cloud by reviewing workloads and recommending migration suitability, disposition, approach and target state tech stack.
• Conduct regular reviews of the cloud environment, recommend optimizations, and implement improvements for performance and reliability
