Job Summary:
- We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Software Engineers with expertise in Java, Go Lang, and MongoDB to join our Operational Excellence team.
- This role is crucial for ensuring application maintainability, stability, production support, Validations, and addressing requests from L1 and L2 teams.
- The engineer will play a vital role in troubleshooting, debugging, implementing fixes, and ensuring seamless application operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the L3 point of contact for incidents / queries raised by customers, L1 and L2 support teams.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, ensuring timely resolution with minimal impact.
- Work on L3 Jira stories that cover bug fixes, system behavior clarifications, and data issues.
- Perform Short-Term Fixes (STF) and Long-Term Fixes (LTF) in coordination with development teams.
- Conduct data analysis and fixes for production records as needed.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and operations teams to improve system reliability and incident response.
- Acknowledge, investigate, and respond to production support queries from customers, L1 and L2 teams.
- Maintain logs, create incident documentation, and contribute to knowledge bases and runbooks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Go, and MongoDB
- Proficient in debugging application and service-level issues in production environments.
- Solid understanding of microservices, web services, and distributed systems.
- Experience with production/ platform tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Splunk, etc.)
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Previous experience in L3 support or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Exposure to monitoring and alerting systems.
- Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
