Genesys Cloud CX Development| Visual Tools

From a high-level Architect's perspective, building voice/digital bots. While having a foundation understanding of variables, loops, decision logic, and switch statements

To build voice/digital bots in Genesys Cloud CX, any required integrations, additional technical skills may be valuable or necessary.

Integration & Backend Skills-

· Working with APIs to exchange information with other tools

· Writing scripts or code to handle special logic

· REST APIs: For connecting to external systems, databases, or services using Genesys APIs (users, conversations, analytics, etc.)

· OAuth & Authentication: Managing secure access when calling external systems

· configuring and customizing.

Optional but Valuable Programming Skills-

· Need additional skills on advanced or customized bot needs to be. For example:

· JavaScript – Often used when building connectors between Genesys and other systems. It can also help add extra logic behind the scenes (like in cloud environments such as AWS).

· Python – Commonly used in AI projects. If you're connecting your bot to smart services (like Google or Amazon AI tools), this can be very helpful

Education

Any Graduate
