Job Responsibilities
- Explore data to identify patterns, trends & anomalies and also conduct statistical analyses to derive actionable insights.
- Build solutions using Generative AI and/or Machine Learning
- Optimize models for predictive accuracy and efficiency.
- Deploy machine learning models into production systems and make necessary updates or improvements
- Interact with client for understanding requirements and discussing solutions
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Document analysis methods, data pipelines, and model workflows
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists
Key skills you will require:
Primary Skills
- Extraordinary skills in programming language in Python
- Proficiency in Generative AI techniques and LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, etc
- Hands on experience of working on solutions involving RAG, Knowledge Graphs, LLM Grounding
- Proficiency in Cloud technologies for Generative AI such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP VertexAI (any one is ok)
- Good knowledge of model hosting services Ollama, Huggingface transformers (any one is ok)
- Hands on experience in developing solutions using Agentic AI techniques. Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks with one or many of these: LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen will be an advantage
- Should have strong understanding of pre-processing text, post processing text and extracting text/data from various sources (web scraping, document extraction, databases, integration with third party systems such as Sharepoint)
- Regular Expressions (Regex) are a critical skill
- Should have good understanding of data operations using pandas
- Should be able to perform exploratory data analysis on various types of data formats (numerical, tabular, text)
- Good to have understanding of Deep Learning and Machine Learning models for solving business problems
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, GCP Cloud Engineer, GCP ML Engineer) can be an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data science projects
Qualifications
Bachelors or master’s with Computer Science or related field
