Gen AI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Compass21 Application Developer to support application maintenance and development efforts for various modules within the Texas Medicaid systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CASE tools such as CA Gen, AllFusion Gen, or Cool:Gen, and must be familiar with technical platforms like HP NonStop (NSK, Tandem).
This role requires a combination of technical expertise and business process knowledge to deliver reliable solutions that support Medicaid systems and ensure system integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation of application components for Texas Medicaid systems using CASE tools (CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen).
• Engage in maintenance, enhancement, and/or new development work on Compass21 modules and related systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Interface with other applications and teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Provide technical direction and participate in development planning.
• Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Ensure high standards of service delivery and adherence to system and security standards.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in application maintenance and/or development
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen
• 3–5+ years of proficiency in SQL
• 3–5+ years of experience working with Medicaid systems
• 3–5+ years working with HP NonStop (NSK, Tandem) technical platforms
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and strengthen customer relationships
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Proven customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with state government agencies or healthcare domain
• Familiarity with Compass21 architecture and its modules
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration in agile or waterfall environments
