Key Skills: GCP, Solution Architect.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Assess client requirements and translate them into technical architectures, solution blueprints, and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization projects, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting workloads to GCP.
- Define and implement best practices for cloud adoption, security, governance, and cost optimization.
- Provide technical leadership to development, operations, and DevOps teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create reference architectures, high-level and low-level design documents, and architecture decision records (ADRs).
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate GCP services for compute, storage, networking, security, data, and analytics.
- Support the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and enterprise security policies.
- Stay updated on emerging GCP technologies and provide thought leadership on new services and solutions.
- Conduct technical workshops and presentations for stakeholders and project teams.
Experience Required:
- 5 - 8 years of experience designing and implementing cloud-native and hybrid solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven experience leading successful cloud transformation initiatives across multiple domains.
- Strong exposure to enterprise application architectures, containerized workloads, and GCP networking and IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
