GCP Platform Architect

We are seeking experienced GCP Platform Architects and Engineers to support a large-scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure build-out. 

The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Terraform, GKE, IAM, and core GCP services. 

These roles involve designing and implementing secure, scalable infrastructure, expanding the landing zone, and operationalizing GenAI modules within a complex, multi-cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• For Architects:
• Develop platform-level Terraform modules.
• Lead expansion of the GCP landing zone and drive application migration and network setup.
• Standardize GenAI modules and infrastructure components.
• Maintain a hands-on contribution level (70–80% of role).
• Guide engineering teams and enforce standardization and best practices.
• Design and troubleshoot complex infrastructure, including pod-level issues in GKE.
• Enforce security policies such as least-privilege access and zero-trust principles.
• For Engineers:
• Execute infrastructure implementation as designed by architects.
• Provision and manage GCP resources using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across GCP services.
• Support secure, scalable network and compute design including redundancy and failover.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams, and application teams to ensure project alignment.

Required Qualifications

• Architect Role:
• 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in cloud architecture (GCP preferred).
• Google Cloud Professional Certification.
• Proven experience designing and implementing IAM, Networking, Firewall, and GKE.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC (console usage discouraged).
• Experience in zero-trust security, encryption, segmentation, and secure networking.
• Expertise in GCP core services including: GKE, GCE, GCVE, IAM, VPC, Firewall, and Load Balancing.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and security logging and monitoring.
• Engineer Role:
• 5–10 years of IT experience with 3+ years in GCP.
• Google Cloud Professional Certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and platform implementation.
• Experience with GCP foundational components and service configurations.
• Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes), networking, and IAM policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GenAI module development and standardization.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud infrastructure environments.
• Exposure to infrastructure policy enforcement and cloud governance at scale.
