GCP DB ARCHITECT

Job Description:
OnPrem to Google Cloud database migrations, you will lead an effort to migrate OnPrem RDBMS databases to Google Cloud, 
with an Agile team working in close consultation with the customer, following the best practices aimed at delivering optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Minimum qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
·        5+ years of Hands-on DBA experience in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or DB2.
·        7+ years of Strong PL*SQL development experience.
·        3+ Years or 5 Full cycle conversions on migrating on-prem legacy databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or DB2) over to cloud databases (GCP preferred). –
·        Has strong working understanding of GCP Cloud databases such as Cloud SQL, Alloy DB, Spanner, Firestore, Firebase, BigTable, BigQuery etc.
·        Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java or Python.
