Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying, requesting and coordinating with APIM related changes as part of migration.
  • Wok with Data architect, PetSmart and Google architects to ensure solution feasibility
  • Enable the API to Applications level communication.
  • Work with PM to identify discrete level implementation tasks and help PM manage technical risks.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud native architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of web services design and development.
  • Deep understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and
  • Infrastructure (IaaS) and system design around these concepts.
  • Able to work on multiple, rapid projects in parallel.
  • Ability to train and mentor solutions architects and development teams in cloud standard
    methodologies.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of experience designing, executing, implementing and supporting IT cloud solutions
    across an enterprise wide with a strategic and tactical scope.
  • 3+ years of experience in API architecture, API management and REST API design.
  • Experience with Java and are familiar with Microsoft .Net stack.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform offerings such as Kubernetes, App Engine, Cloud PubSub, DataFlow.
  • Experience with cloud moves (GCP).
  • Experience With Anthos Service Mesh, Google Cloud Functions, Google Cloud Events, Secret
  • Manager, Pub/Sub, Google Operations, Mongo DB.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
