Functional API Test Engineer

Required skills:

• Overall, 6-8 years experience in Testing with at least 3 years in testing Airline applications.
• Good understanding of Aircraft Flight operations, Scheduling, Weight and Balance
• Knowledge of Altea booking and customer management, schedules, IROPS and overall understanding of Airline process flow
• Experience of applying different types and techniques in functional testing at services and end-to-end level
• Experience in using defect tracking and management tools like Jira, X-ray, and ALM
• Hands on experience on SQL queries, Postman SOAP UI
• Excellent Oral, written communication skills. Experience of Pairing and working with the Product Owner, Developers to ensure that quality is embedded throughout
• Experience of working in SAFe Agile methodology and delivering high quality, potentially shippable product increment every Iteration.
• Provide input and champion system testability, Establish and evangelizes testing best practices. Strives for quality to be built and aspires to shift quality to the left
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to think outside the box and look for ways to make the testing process more efficient Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Good knowledge on AWS tools and testing
• Good understanding of automated test concepts, automation setup and test executions
• Experience in estimating test effort for a project release and planning

Education:
Bachelor's Degree [Technology preferred] and equivalent work experience
