Full Stack Developer

• Drive the design and implementation of scalable, high performing and robust applications that leverages Private cloud, Public cloud (Azure/GCP), On-Premises cloud service providers.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
• Improve our software delivery capabilities via automation and repeatability.
• Conducts reviews of the code, test plan and release artifacts.
• Develop code using secure coding practices.
• Leverage existing products/functionality and promote reusability.
• Ensure resolution of project issues and conflicting workload priorities and escalate as required.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to more junior engineers including code reviews.
• Help the tech management team shape best practices for developing, sharing, and continuously improving our software platform.
• Identify and discuss issues with the team that might be overlooked, such as scalability, performance, or security.

• HM is looking for a lead developer, who will be mentoring junior level engineers
• Required to work on 1 or 2 projects related to BNY's POM Model
• Expectation is to be leading design of application and be hands on while also mentoring 3 to 4 junior engineers.
• Experience with Eagle Invest, Java, Kafka, Angular on the front-end side, Oracle, CI/CD pipelines
• No preference of Angular version
• Financial background
• Experience with agile mythologies
• HM will prioritize skills sets over industry experience
• experience with public clouds
• Experience with secured coding development and practice
• Experience with Unit Testing
• 7-9+ years of experience
• Working hours will be within business core hours - 8 to 5
• Overtime as needed
• Will only be interacting with internal teams
• Team collaboration and comfortable working with international teams
• Panel interview with HM and tech leads
• 2 to 3 rounds of interview - 1st round will be technical focused, 2nd round will consist of a coding exercise
