Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Fullstack Shopify Developer who can manage the ongoing maintenance and support of our Shopify eCommerce website. The ideal candidate will also have the expertise to implement new features and functionalities to improve the user experience and support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the Shopify store, ensuring all functionalities are operating smoothly.
  • Feature Development: Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities to enhance the eCommerce experience.
  • Bug Fixes & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any technical issues or bugs that arise on the website.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor website performance, including load times and responsiveness, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product management to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Customization: Customize Shopify themes and apps to align with Dot&Key’s branding and functionality needs.
  • Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for any issues related to the Shopify platform.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of code, changes, and processes for future reference and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Fullstack Shopify Developer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify’s ecosystem, including Liquid, Shopify APIs, and app integrations.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Ruby on Rails, etc.).
  • Experience with responsive design and development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with eCommerce best practices and SEO optimization is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Shopify and eCommerce platforms.
