Front-End Developer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for writing high-quality production code at the heart of the client s core platform.
• Contribute to a highly collaborative team of JavaScript/HTML/CSS Developers interface with a Java/Spring back-end building a cloud-based platform.
• Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain the front-end of the core product; and, improve and utilize company standard patterns for software development.
• Develop Frameworks/Technologies: Eclipse, Angular 7+, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, D3.
• Test Frameworks: JUnit, Karma, HP Performance Center, Selenium, Fitnesse, Gherkin, Cucumber, Behavior Driven Development.

Required Skills

• Familiar with JavaScript testing and automation tools, including Karma, Jasmine, Istanbul, Grunt, Gulp, SASS/LESS.
• Strong knowledge in object-oriented principles and front-end patterns.
• Strong knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 1.5.8, AngularJS, Ember.JS, Ext JS, Backbone.JS, Handlebars, TypeScript, Underscore.JS, Lodash, Testing, Automation, Karma, Jasmine, Istanbul, Grunt, Gulp, SASS, LESS TypeScript, ES2015, Protractor, Git, npm, Compass, Bootstrap, React, D3, Highcharts, Redux, ImmutableJS, RxJS, LoDash, Wijmo, WebPack.

Required Experience

• 2 – 5+ years of JavaScript development experience, with strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• 4+ years’ experience with these technologies for cloud solution deployments : DevOps, SecDevOps, AWS services, Azure services, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as AngularJS, Ember.JS, Ext JS, Backbone.JS, Handlebars, and Underscore.JS/Lodash.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field.
