FPGA Engineer

· Experience in FPGA / PLD development experience ideally in aerospace, defense or medical product environments using VHDL or similar languages
· Knowledge & experience with DO-254 or similar guidelines for ensuring a safe and rigorous design process
· Capture, Define & Refine product specifications into a set of device level requirements including functional architecture, allocation & justification or derived requirements
· Implementation of requirements into VHDL code including usage of existing IPs, standard protocols (e.g. Omnibus, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, AMBA, etc.)
· Write and debug firmware code for FPGA devices
· Perform testing and verification of FPGA designs
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FPGA implementation
· Stay updated with the latest advancements in FPGA technology
