Firewall Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Firewall Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco ASA, Check Point, Juniper SRX, and Palo Alto firewalls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for firewall policy implementation, troubleshooting, and migration activities across diverse environments. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to work with US-based teams.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls (ASA, Check Point, SRX, Palo Alto)
• Implement and optimize firewall policies and rules
• Perform firewall migrations and upgrades
• Analyze logs and traffic to identify and resolve security issues
• Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure secure architecture
• Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps
• Provide support during security incidents and audits

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in firewall engineering
• Hands-on expertise in ASA, Check Point, SRX, and Palo Alto
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience with VPNs, NAT, and HA configurations
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and network monitoring
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Must be based in the US
