FinOps + Cloud

Job Description:
• Focus on bringing financial accountability to the variable spend model of cloud
• Drive consumption-based billing, enabling distributed teams to make business trade-offs between speed, cost, and quality.
• Familiar in using cloud financial spend tooling such as Cloud Health or Flexera, as well as Power BI to create cost visibility and help teams to reduce their cloud spend.
• Produce cost reporting and optimization recommendations for cloud solutions
• Own tagging compliance to increase cloud visibility.
• Support the on-boarding of new cloud-native solutions for Food and Beverage to make sure they are meeting right standards. Automate tagging and optimisation reporting.
• Work as an SME for AWS & GCP to provide technical as well as financial support to application team to help them understand current spend and drive cost optimisation discussion to reduce cloud spend.

Mandatory Skills
• SME with hands on experience on AWS & GCP.
• Experience in FinOPS (Cloud Financial Management) and various ways to optimize cloud spend
• Experience in license management, and measuring utilization and compliance
• Experience in large hybrid multi-cloud environment – both IaaS and PaaS offerings
• Experience in Automation
• Reporting experience using MS PowerBI
• Experience with Cloudhealth or Flexera cloud spend management tools
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
