FileNet Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade IBM FileNet P8 and related components (Content Engine, Process Engine, Application Engine, etc.).
• Perform system monitoring, tuning, patching, and maintenance of the FileNet infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Support FileNet integration with other applications like IBM Case Manager, Datacap, and WebSphere.
• Work closely with developers, application teams, and infrastructure teams for smooth operations.
• Apply patches, perform version upgrades, and support migration activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide user support/training as required.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM FileNet P8 5.x/4.x environments.
• Experience in administering FileNet Content Platform Engine (CPE), Process Engine, and Application Engine.
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server and IBM DB2/Oracle.
• Good understanding of FileNet security, object stores, workflows, and metadata modeling.
• Familiarity with IBM Case Manager and/or Datacap is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation and maintenance tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
