ETL Test Lead

Job Description:

ETL Testing & Validation: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
Validate data completeness, transformation logic, and data integrity in source and target systems.
Perform data reconciliation and defect tracking.
Data Quality & Integrity Testing: Verify data consistency across different layers of data processing.
Ensure that business rules and data transformation logic are correctly applied.
Validate data correctness, referential integrity, and compliance with predefined standards.
Automation & Scripting:
Develop automated test scripts using SQL, Python, or other testing frameworks.
Implement data validation automation for regression testing.
Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks.
Defect Reporting & Tracking:
Log and track issues using tools like JIRA, Client ALM, or similar.
Work closely with ETL developers and data engineers to resolve defects.
Perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and Business Teams to understand data requirements.
Document test cases, test results, and QA processes for knowledge sharing.
Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills (joins, indexing, stored procedures, etc.).
Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Apache Nifi, or AWS Glue.
Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Teradata. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation.
Familiarity with data modeling concepts, data lakes, and big data platforms.
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Client ALM, etc.)
