ETL Senior Tester/Lead

Responsibilities

• Work closely with development and other technical teams and with technical resources to discuss and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with business partners, product management, and application development to ensure that developed applications and infrastructure changes meet our clients business needs and deliver business value.
• Create and adjust test design strategies, test plans, and test data as needed to meet changing user requirements.
• Verify software functionality based on the test strategy and test plans created, and utilize various software testing methodologies to identify the decision points in the software.
• Act as a technical lead for other testers within their Scrum Development team.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge in Programming languages & use of Test Automation tools.
• Should possess advanced SQL writing skills such as complex joins, correlated subqueries, aggregate functions and inline views.
• Should be proficient with Test estimation techniques & solution with problem statements.
• Excellent skill in finding bugs and over defect management Jira.
• Must have Knowledge on SDLC and STLC model.
• Should be proficient with Test estimation techniques & solution with problem statements.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of strong experience in ETL testing, BI Testing.
• 5 – 6 years of experience with Software Quality Assurance- QA project life cycle, test plan, test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, traceability matrix.
• 3 – 5+ years of experience in Database/Data Warehouse/ETL Testing.
• 3 – 5+ years of Strong experience in advanced SQL scripting.
• 3+ years experience of Data Lake/Hadoop platform implementation, including 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning Hadoop/Spark implementations.
• Experience in MS SQL server, SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong experience in Database Querying.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
