ETL Informatica Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work with Informatica DQ tool to profile, monitor and control data quality.
• Design and development of relational database management objects (tables, schemas, indexes, materialized views, partitions, stored procedures, macros, etc), database design principles, data administration standards and information security terminology.
• Design, implement and understand Dimensional Models/query tools, and Metadata Repositories.
• Establish, develop and maintain good working relationships with business users.
• Prioritize face-to-face interactions.

Required Skills

• ETL Tools: Informatica Power Center 10.x/9.x, AWS Stack (Glue, Lambda, Athena)
  BI Visualization Tools: Tableau, Excel.
• Data Modeling: Dimensional Data Modeling- Logical & Physical data modeling, Star & Snowflake schema, OLAP & OLTP systems.
• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, PostgreSQL, Redshift.
• Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, Python.
• Tools: Teradata Studio, Putty, SQL Developer, Autosys, ESP, Visio, CA Workload Automation
  Version Control Tools: SVN, Git.
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Harness.
• Environment: UNIX, Windows, AWS Cloud.
• Others: Agile, Waterfall, Microsoft Office, JIRA, Rally, Confluence, Performance Tuning, Debugging.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience with ETL.
• Experience with Teradata.
• Experience with Agile methodology and working with collaborative agile team.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
