ETL Developer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing business partners with data to show if implemented solutions are generating more sales.
• Design, implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, loading and validation activities using ETL tools including SSIS.
• Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users and propose adequate solutions.
• Support a variety of projects, candidates must be ready for a fast-paced work environment and possess a strong sense of ownership over deliverables.
• Maintain and improve already existing processes (good to have).
• Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable eWork with the business in designing and delivering correct, high quality data.
• Responsible for collecting, parsing, managing and analyzing large sets of data.

Required Skills

• Expert level skill with Informatica as an ETL Tool.
• Proficiency with Oracle 11g Database.
• Unix Scripting skills Plus.
• Ability to write unit test cases and test their code accordingly.
• Proficient in Mongo.
• Ability to understand Git.
• Should have skills in Java Profiler.

Required Experience

• 2-3 years experience as a Lead ETL Developer.
• Hands on experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) data from various sources into Data Warehouses and Data Marts using Informatica.
• Minimum 2+years experience Elasticsearch.
• Strong experience with SQL Server 2008 & 2012.
• Should have experience Relational database experience – SQL and design (MySQL).
• AWS (S3, RDS, Cloud Watch, EC2, etc).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
