Description

Client IT seeks a skilled ETL Analyst/Engineer to join a fast-paced agile team supporting a critical data integration platform for Health and Human Services. You'll be hands-on with Informatica, complex SQL, and automation tools to transform and streamline data from multiple sources.

 

Responsibilities:

  • ETL Development: Create and optimize workflows using Informatica (IICS, IDMC, PowerCenter).
  • Data Integration: Source data from Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDFs.
  • SQL Scripting: Build and tune advanced Oracle SQL scripts, including views and materialized views.
  • Automation: Write Python scripts to drive testing and streamline processes.
  • Modeling: Partner with engineers on scalable data architecture.
  • Testing: Validate scripts, ETL flows, and dashboards; build automated test routines.
  • Agile: Engage actively in sprints and daily standups.
  • Web: Maintain and enhance the Java-based site that powers Tableau dashboards.
  • Documentation: Produce specs, diagrams, and technical notes; contribute to design discussions.

 

Required Experience (8+ years preferred)

  • Informatica suite (IICS, IDMC, PowerCenter)
  • Multi-source data integration for analytics platforms
  • Complex Oracle SQL scripting
  • Python automation for data validation
  • Analytical mindset for performance and quality
  • Strong documentation and modeling (Visio, Erwin)
  • QA test planning, execution, and defect tracking
  • Risk evaluation and mitigation
  • Strong organization, independence, and confidentialit

 

Preferred Skills (Years of Experience Noted):

  • Automation Frameworks: Contributing to improving automation frameworks, including new features and enhanced test coverage. (4 years preferred)
  • Automated Testing: Experience building or working with automated regression and functional test suites, ideally enhanced by AI. (2 years preferred)
  • AI Platforms: Experience working on AI platforms or validating AI-integrated products. (2 years preferred)
  • Observability/Testing Infrastructure: Familiarity with observability and testing infrastructure at scale. (2 years preferred)
  • Innovation: A track record of driving innovation in software quality or test automation
