Esri GIS Web GIS Programmer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Esri GIS Web GIS Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Esri GIS technologies, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Server, and web-based GIS applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge GIS solutions, utilizing advanced development platforms and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Esri GIS Technologies: Work with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcGIS Server to design, implement, and maintain GIS solutions.
• Development & Configuration: Lead the development and configuration of GIS applications using Web App Builder and Experience Builder.
• Web Mapping Solutions: Design, develop, and publish web maps and web applications that are intuitive and user-friendly.
• API Development: Create and integrate custom APIs as required, following Esri's best practices.
• Technical Leadership: Ensure that the solutions are developed and configured according to Esri’s best practices and industry standards.
• Front-End Development: Leverage your expertise in React, JavaScript, .NET, C#, HTML, and CSS to develop interactive and dynamic web applications.
• GIS SDK Usage: Use ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript to build custom GIS functionalities and user interfaces.
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize GIS applications to ensure performance, scalability, and high quality.
• Documentation: Create technical documentation for developed solutions, ensuring clarity and completeness for end-users and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Esri GIS technology stack (ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Online).
• Expertise in developing GIS applications using Web App Builder, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
• Proficient in React, JavaScript, .NET, C#, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid experience in ArcGIS Enterprise installation, configuration, and management.
• Experience with API development and integrating GIS systems with other enterprise solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of designing and publishing web maps and web apps based on Esri’s platform.
• Ability to design and develop solutions that align with industry best practices and Esri guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical documentation skills.

Desired Experience:

• 4 to 8 years of professional experience in GIS and web application development.
