Experience:
10+ years in data migration or conversion projects.
At least 4 years working with Oracle Fusion.
Skills:
Proficient in Oracle applications modules, especially Supply Chain, Procurement, Order Management, and Finance.
Expertise in data mapping, cleansing, and transformation.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with data validation and reconciliation processes.
Strong project management experience with complex projects.
Responsibilities
Lead Data Conversion Efforts:
Oversee the entire data conversion process for Oracle and boundary applications.
Manage analysis, mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Project Leadership:
Coordinate and manage data conversion activities in line with project timelines and deliverables.
Collaborate with the SI partner and project manager to build and manage detailed conversion plans.
ETL Process Management:
Work with technical teams to extract, transform, and load data to meet business needs.
Data Quality and Integrity:
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of data during conversion.
Develop validation and testing strategies for post-conversion verification.
Collaboration with Teams:
Partner with functional teams (e.g., finance, supply chain) to integrate data into the Oracle system.
Validate and refine conversion processes with Oracle functional consultants.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates to senior management and project teams on progress.
Mentorship & Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of data conversion analysts and developers.
Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the project.
About the Opportunity
This role is crucial in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system migration project. The candidate will lead the migration from existing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3, Hyperion, and other sources to a new Oracle Fusion system.
