Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps aligned with healthcare strategy, compliance needs, and business objectives.
  • Design end-to-end healthcare technology solutions that integrate clinical, financial, and administrative systems.
  • Ensure interoperability and data exchange standards are met (e.g., HL7, FHIR, CCD, CDA).
  • Collaborate with product, infrastructure, clinical, data, and cybersecurity teams to ensure cohesive and scalable systems.
  • Evaluate new technologies and vendors for alignment with enterprise architecture and healthcare best practices.
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance for solution design, data governance, and systems integration.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS mandates.
  • Document and communicate architecture standards, policies, and governance processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years in the healthcare domain (provider, payer, digital health, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, SNOMED).
  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and healthcare IT ecosystems.
  • Proficient in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF).
  • Proven ability to architect and integrate complex, mission-critical systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TOGAF or other architecture certification.
  • Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Experience in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) in healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with value-based care models, population health, and healthcare analytics.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or HITRUST.
