Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: Hybrid(Phoenix, AZ)
Duration: Long term contract
Role: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts and models that will guide decision-makers to make more informed, effective, and impactful business and technology investment decisions through strategies, roadmaps and standards for domains and products across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Understand long-term ("big picture strategist") and short-term (“small picture tactician”) perspectives of situations
- Build & maintain relationships with organizational stakeholders by leveraging consultative methods
- Provide actionable recommendations about investment decisions, using technology to make that change happen
- Lead & facilitate discussions about the risks and implications of product decisions across the enterprise
- Translate business architecture and processes into technological decisions to support Product Management teams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years progressive experience working closely with Information Management or related fields with at least 3 of those spent in an Enterprise Architecture role and with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Experience modifying certified EA frameworks (TOGAF) to make it practical for the organizational needs.
- Credit Union environment industry experience.
- Familiarity with Agile process development and Product Management methodologies.
- Intermediate to expert experience in SQL, Microsoft Excel (charting, graphing, pivot tables), Microsoft Visio (process flow diagrams), Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Fundamentals; exposure to Enterprise Architecture software tools desired (ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management)
