Key Responsibilities

  • Platform-Centric Solution Leadership: Architect and guide the creation of reusable, scalable, cloud-native platform engineering accelerators and solution blueprints.
  • Enterprise Technology Architecture Excellence: Engage across the enterprise to ensure strategic alignment of technology capabilities to business outcomes
  • Studio and COE Oversight: Lead and manage a 20+ member team comprising platform engineers, product architects, and specialists across Generative AI, platform engineering, data, application, and cloud technologies.
  • Client Advisory and Engagement: Present architectural ideas, facilitate strategic discussions, and drive technology thought leadership with client CTOs and senior stakeholders.
  • Sales Support:  Enable and substantiate GTM and account leadership to shape and sell Brillio’s platform engineering portfolio offerings by understanding refining business problems and providing purpose-fit solutions, Point of views, and technical engagements with customers. 
  • Asset building: Analyze and assimilate market trends, repeatable business problems and shape & drive creation of reusable assets and accelerators to maintain a competent portfolio of offerings in the space of platform engineering.   
  • Hands-On Architecture and Solutioning: Drive hands-on involvement in architecture design sessions, PoCs, and solution implementations across multi-cloud and platform engineering scenarios.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Brillio’s business units, delivery leads, and GTM teams to evangelize platform engineering solutions and support large transformation initiatives.
  • Talent Development and Mentoring: Build a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and architectural rigor within the team; mentor emerging leaders and architects.
  • Innovation and Thought Leadership: Champion emerging technologies, contribute to Brillio IP/accelerator development, and represent Brillio at industry forums.

Required Industry Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in solution and technology architecture and technology strategy roles.
  • Proven experience leading platform or product engineering teams in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive platform modernization and platform-as-a-product strategies.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing and operating cloud-native platform products/solutions across industries. 
  • Strong client engagement experience across multiple domains, preferably in high-tech or software-led enterprises.

Required Technical Experience

  • Expertise in cloud architecture across Azure, AWS, and GCP. (minimum two mandatory)
  • Deep understanding of platform engineering principles including internal developer platforms, golden paths, and DevEx tooling. Awareness of major tool and technologies in these areas. 
  • Strong experience in Generative AI, coding assistants, LLM models including but not limited to OpenAI, Cloude, Gemini and similar. 
  • Strong experience in AI/ML or data engineering use cases as part of platform build-outs. 
  • Knowledge of modern architecture paradigms such as microservices, event-driven systems, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and containerization.
  • Hands-on with Python, Node.Js and major IaC and/or similar programming technologies in order to understand, review, guide and correct team’s deliverables when required. 
  • Hands-on with architectural tools, reference models, and governance frameworks.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Cloud certifications in Azure/AWS/GCP and platform engineering certifications are a strong plus
