Job Summary:
An Enterprise Architect designs and oversees the implementation of a company's IT infrastructure to ensure it aligns with the business's organizational structure and processes. They play a crucial role in integrating IT systems, creating enterprise architecture models, and suggesting improvements to internal functions and IT processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and Implement IT Roadmap: Create a strategic IT roadmap that aligns with the organization's business objectives.
• Design and Analyze Architecture: Design and analyze the enterprise architecture, including business, information, data, application, and technology architecture.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to ensure the architecture meets business needs and IT requirements.
• Identify Improvements: Identify potential areas of improvement in the current IT environment and propose solutions.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers and technical directors to ensure project objectives are met within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.
• Technology Trends: Maintain an understanding of emerging technologies, trends, and techniques, and assess their relevance to the organization.
• Documentation: Lead and facilitate the creation and review of architecture documents and artifacts.
• Risk Management: Support the risk management process by identifying and assessing potential risks associated with IT investments and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Standards and Procedures: Establish and enforce IT standards and procedures to promote consistent use of technologies within the organization.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Extensive experience in IT architecture, including experience with business, information, data, application, and technology architecture.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and emerging technologies.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar are preferred.
