Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to engineers working with MERN

technologies.

2. Project Management: Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and task prioritization to

ensure successful project delivery.

3. Technical Oversight: Review code, architecture decisions and ensure adherence to best practices

within the MERN stack.

4. Collaboration: Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, including developers,

designers and product managers.

5. Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the hiring process, interview candidates and onboard

new team members.

6. Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, set goals and provide constructive

feedback to team members.

7. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project updates, challenges and progress to

stakeholders, including top management.

8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovations and

knowledge sharing within the team.

9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks that may impact project delivery or product

quality.

10. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in MERN technologies and industry trends

to ensure the team remains competitive and innovative.

 

Required Experience & Skills

● 10-12 years of total professional experience

● 5+ years of experience in leading development team of 20-25 resources

● Should be proficient in agile application development methodology and having a strong

understanding of Jira tool

● Hands on experience as MEAN/MERN Developer

● Should have built at least one customer facing application from scratch

● Good experience in building micro-services architecture-based applications

● Strong analytical abilities to identify design challenges and propose innovative solutions
