Engineering Lead

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Define and enhance the technology architecture and engineering for P&C Solutions.
• Retain, grow, and lead a strong engineering team responsible for strategic initiatives across specific product(s).
• Recommend and build alternative solutions to business challenges while streamlining processes and enhancing competitive advantage.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business impact and ensure effective execution to drive tangible outcomes.
• Collaborate with Engineering Director, P&C Solutions Engineering Leads, Product Owners, Platform Leads, and Operations team.
• Lead both internal and external engineering teams and coach/mentor junior engineers.
• Promote knowledge sharing and align engineering best practices across P&C Solutions and Reinsurance.
• Communicate technology vision, roadmaps, and deliverables effectively to leadership, business, and sales communities.

Experience Requirement:

• 10-15 years of experience in software engineering with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and architectural patterns.
• Experience in Java or .NET Core and related technologies in large enterprise systems.
• Hands-on engineering experience is essential.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in complex environments.
• Experience delivering IT projects, including cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of GenAI, security remediation, and running SaaS-hosted ITSM Level 3 applications.
