Description

Client is seeking an experienced Endur Business Analyst to support energy trading and risk management (ETRM) systems for a key client in Houston. This position will be embedded onsite with the client and will focus on supporting natural gas trading operations, including trade lifecycle management, scheduling, P&L, risk reporting, and market data integration. The analyst will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions within the OpenLink Endur platform to meet evolving business needs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and implement solutions in OpenLink Endur to support trading and logistics for natural gas and client commodities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Provide hands-on support for deal modeling, template configuration, market and reference data setup, and risk/P&L reporting.
  • Manage gas nominations, scheduling, and contract-related workflows.
  • Maintain strong communication across front, middle, and back office to ensure seamless trade operations.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for the Endur production environment, troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Contribute to continuous system enhancements and participate in the evolution of the architecture.
  • Collaborate with global teams using Agile methodology to deliver solutions on time and within scope.

 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years as an Endur Business Analyst supporting commercial commodity trading—natural gas experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenLink Endur version 10 or higher, including deal lifecycle, trade processing, and back-office functions.
  • Familiarity with the North American gas market, including contracts, pricing, nominations, and transmission/distribution.
  • Proven experience working with commercial IT teams and advising on functional requirements and technical design.
  • Strong understanding of trade operation infrastructure and ETRM business flows from front to back office.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in OpenLink Endur, including new instrument setup, deal screen configuration, template creation, and market data integration.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with P&L, risk reporting, settlements, and invoicing processes
