Embedded/Firmware Testing

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Firmware/Embedded Test Engineer with strong expertise in testing embedded systems. The ideal candidate will possess experience in both system-level and unit-level testing, combined with proficiency in Python programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct system-level testing, including both Black Box and White Box testing.
• Perform unit testing using tools such as LDRA or Parasoft (preferred).
• Analyze, debug, and validate firmware and embedded systems for functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure embedded systems meet performance and quality standards.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python for testing and validation processes.
• Maintain a deep understanding of embedded systems, including their architecture and functioning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of experience in firmware/embedded system testing.
• Proficiency in Python programming for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and their operation.
• Hands-on experience in system-level testing (Black Box and White Box).
• Familiarity with unit testing tools like LDRA or Parasoft is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
