Job Description:

Development, configuration and maintenance of base software components (CAN communication and/or diagnostics) in accordance with defined software development processes including requirements engineering, software component design, implementation, verification and validation. Collaboration with a multi discipline project team (domestic and international) and varying customers

Additional tasks / responsibilities:

 

Support of customer in vehicle communications or diagnostics related questions and problems incl. trouble- shooting

Support of team members in lab and/or vehicle

Potential travel to customer meetings and/or offsite team activities

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Embedded C C++ is good to have but not a disqualifier Knowledge of AUTOSAR software architecture

Knowledge of related topics like End-of-Line testing, OBD, Flash/Bootloader Security

Experience with Diagnostic Testers & Vector Tooling (CANalyzer, CANape, etc )

Experience with (automotive) software development processes (e.g. Automotive SPICE®)

Knowledge of application lifecycle management tools (e.g. IBM Rational® ALM & DOORS, JIRA, Enterprise Architect etc )

Know-how in software project management and agile methods (e.g. Scrum )
