Description

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on comprehensive testing and validation of electronic systems, with a particular emphasis on firmware validation and high-speed digital and analog electronics testing.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement test strategies and methodologies for electronic hardware and firmware
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for electronic components and systems
  • Perform firmware validation to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with specifications
  • Conduct testing of high-speed digital and analog electronic circuits and systems
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams on issue resolution
  • Document test results, prepare technical reports, and maintain test documentation
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and environments
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks where applicable
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure testability of electronic products
  • Stay current with industry testing standards and best practices


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in electronics testing and validation
  • Proven experience in firmware validation techniques and methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed digital and analog electronics testing
  • Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
  • Proficiency in using automated test equipment (ATE) and developing test fixtures
  • Understanding of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, etc.)
  • Knowledge of debugging techniques for embedded systems
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, LabVIEW, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with EMC/EMI testing and compliance
  • Knowledge of FPGA testing and validation
  • Experience with thermal and environmental testing
  • Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, IEC, etc.)
  • Experience with continuous integration and test automation in electronics development
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods for test data
