We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on comprehensive testing and validation of electronic systems, with a particular emphasis on firmware validation and high-speed digital and analog electronics testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement test strategies and methodologies for electronic hardware and firmware
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for electronic components and systems
- Perform firmware validation to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with specifications
- Conduct testing of high-speed digital and analog electronic circuits and systems
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams on issue resolution
- Document test results, prepare technical reports, and maintain test documentation
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and environments
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks where applicable
- Participate in design reviews to ensure testability of electronic products
- Stay current with industry testing standards and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in electronics testing and validation
- Proven experience in firmware validation techniques and methodologies
- Strong knowledge of high-speed digital and analog electronics testing
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
- Proficiency in using automated test equipment (ATE) and developing test fixtures
- Understanding of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, etc.)
- Knowledge of debugging techniques for embedded systems
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, LabVIEW, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with EMC/EMI testing and compliance
- Knowledge of FPGA testing and validation
- Experience with thermal and environmental testing
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, IEC, etc.)
- Experience with continuous integration and test automation in electronics development
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods for test data
