EDW Support Developer

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services.
• Triage support issues and provide maintenance break/fix support for applications.
• Will be designing, developing and responsible for implementation in Snowflake.
• Design, develop, test and implement applications in either Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Create data interfaces to integrate proprietary and 3rd party systems to eliminate manual processes.
• Will be loading from disparate data sets and translating complex functional and technical
  requirements into detailed design.
• Anticipate potential problems or opportunities and recommend new solutions that are best suited for the company’s application infrastructure.
• Will also perform analysis of vast data stores and uncover insights.

Required Skills

• Should have an excellent knowledge in Python and SQL skills.
• Should have a Good knowledge and working experience in AWS Cloud (S3, EC2, and SQS).
• Must have working knowledge with all phases of the SDLC in a team-oriented, structured yet agile, model.
• Have good analytical skills and be willing to learn new technologies.
• Should have excellent problem-solving skills, an inquisitive nature.
• Ability to self-start and be resourceful and very strong development skills in relevant technologies.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5+ experience in Python and SQ.
• 1 to 2 years of working experience in AWS Cloud.
• Good Experience in Data warehouse Concepts.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
