Drupal Developer

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include design, development, testing, and maintenance of Drupal websites, associated web applications and databases.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Familiar with code repository tools like Git, svn, Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology.
• Comfortable working with JavaScript; both within Drupal, and on its own.
• Familiarity with Headless/Decoupled website development.
• Ability to Integrate with Web services (RESTful/JSON,SOAP services).
• Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and accountable for the tasks.
• Web application development using Drupal.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of Drupal experience.
• Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end.
• Experience with setting up and maintaining entire sites using Drupal, writing custom modules and ideally be active in the community.
• Experience with PHP Coding and developed custom Drupal modules in Windows Environment.
• Experience working with Drupal 8 (Must/highly preferred)/ Drupal 7 based websites.
• Excellent PHP development experience.
• Experience working with Content Workflow, CK Editor and developing custom Drupal modules.
• Experience with Drupal module development and Drupal theming.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
