Drupal Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead in the design, implementation, testing and deployment of enterprise-scale Drupal web application.
• Work with others to refactor and implement complex functionality using PHP by creating custom Drupal modules.
• Assist with gathering requirements/dependencies for migrations from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 and lead migration efforts.
• Lead migrations from Drupal 8 to Drupal 9 for enterprise-scale Drupal web apps.

Required Skills

• Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket).
• Strong working experience with core Java APIs.
• Comfortable working with JavaScript; both within Drupal, and on its own.
• Familiarity with Headless/Decoupled website development.
• Ability to Integrate with Web services (RESTful/JSON,SOAP services).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and accountable for the tasks.

Required Experience

• Experience with PHP Coding and developed custom Drupal modules.
• Experience with Acquia platform and developing/deploying Drupal websites to Acquia Site factory.
• Experience working in an Agile Environment.
• Strong experience in HTML, CSS, Angular or React, and JavaScript.
• Experience in Oracle DB/SQL from a Java development standpoint.
• Experience working with Drupal 8 (highly preferred)/ Drupal 7 based websites.
• Experience working with Content Workflow, CK Editor and developing custom Drupal modules.
• Experience developing web applications using front-end frameworks.
• Experience building RESTful API.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
