Detailed JD:
Drupal developer to assist in building our new Drupal 8 platform, Candidate will gain first-hand experience in helping migrate sites to this new platform from Drupal 7. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Drupal 8, including Site Building, Theming and Module Development. We are looking for a well-rounded individual that can provide support and oversight of the existing platform while performing site audits and maintenance. Experience using Acquia Cloud Enterprise, and other Acquia products (Lift, Pipelines, DAM) is not required but would reduce onboarding time and is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead Development efforts for building of new Drupal 8 platform for Client's current suite of marketing sites.
• Work to integrate Drupal 8 sites with new Acquia Products, such as Lift, DAM, and Content Hub products.
• Use JavaScript to build interactive pages components and features.
• Work with other Drupal Developers on code standards and periodic code reviews.
• Provide architectural oversight for projects using Drupal 8, and applying best practices.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to quickly prototype designs and functional requirements.
• Identify, Manage and Fix Security finding on the code
• Manage production support for Drupal 8 sites.
• Work as part of a team in a positive and engaging manner to deliver high-end solutions for the business and our partners

Qualifications

• Has a solid understanding of the Linux operating system, knows basic of navigating and using the operating system.
• Has a solid understanding of GIT and the GITFlow methodology.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience building Drupal sites on various levels, from Site Building to Development.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with custom Module Development in Drupal 8.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5/CSS3/Javascript/Gulp/SASS
• Basic understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA).
• Contributions to Drupal Community are a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline/budget driven work environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize effectively
