Drupal Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain the agency's Drupal website and WordPress blogs.
• Plan and support enterprise-grade web and browser-based applications using PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel, Django, Symfony, etc.).
• Administer and enhance Content Management Systems (CMS) within a LAMP/LEMP environment.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configuration, technical processes, and security protocols.
• Train agency team members on CMS usage, security best practices, and development standards.
• Collaborate in cross-agency workgroups to implement standard web page templates and application architecture.
• Provide regular project updates, resolve incidents, and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Assist with occasional after-hours support for critical maintenance or incident resolution.

OTHER EXPECTATIONS:
• Submit weekly progress reports outlining accomplishments and upcoming goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems and workflows.
• Provide timely updates on technical risks, dependencies, and ongoing issues.
• Follow agency policies, procedures, and conduct standards.
• Complete required IT security training and provide documentation of completion.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ Years of Experience with PHP programming in LAMP/LEMP environments Required
* 8+ Years of Designing/administering websites using CMS (Drupal, WordPress) Required
* 8+ Years of Web development using frameworks like Laravel, Django, Symfony Required
* 8+ Years of Experience with Drupal administration and theme/module development Required
* 8+ Years of Experience with WordPress administration Required
* 8+ Years of Proficient in Linux and command-line interface (CLI) Required
* 8+ Years of Familiarity with SDLC, programming standards, and system architecture Required
* 8+ Years of Python development in LAMP/LEMP stack Preferred
* 8+ Years of Experience with search systems (Solr, Drupal Search, etc.) Preferred
* 8+ Years of Drupal admin tools (e.g., Drush) Preferred
* 8+ Years of Responsive web design and mobile-first development Preferred
* 8+ Years of AJAX and asynchronous web development techniques Preferred
* 8+ Years of Knowledge of JavaScript, Ruby, and Java Preferred
* 8+ Years of Security awareness (XSS, SQL injection, etc.) Preferred
* 8+ Years of Familiarity with ticketing systems (Remedy, KACE) Preferred
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field Preferred
* Industry certifications in programming/web development Preferred
