The Community team will be part of the larger Marketing Team, the vision of which is to engage meaningfully with users, provide value and deliver delight.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing & Community Manager to identify, cultivate, and activate our community. The goal of our community management team is to provide value to our users, create superb Learner experiences, and to spread the word about Jigya. Passion is a must, and we expect the Jigya Community Manager to have a passion for social media marketing and an enthusiasm for nurturing our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Put together the strategy to onboard and engage with our community
- Analyze community insights and spot trends to inform content strategy
- Identifying and reporting KPIs and relevant metrics providing weekly and monthly listening and engagement reports
- Foster community-to-community interaction, identify relevant and interesting resources to share with our community
- Create unique and personalized social content to drive community conversations
- Act as the voice of the JIgya brand and a bank of knowledge on the product
Key Criteria
Understanding of Online Marketing, Digital Advertising and Digital Communications is important and a broad exposure to Professional Learning / Executive Education domain will help.
Candidate should have the following skills:
- Strong writing skills to create succinct and engaging social messaging
- Understanding of Digital Media and competency in Digital Communications which includes Email, WhatsApp and Social Media Communications
- Undergraduate Degree in Engineering preferred
- Experience in marketing research, social media, technology or communication is good to have
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of and experience managing popular social channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram)
- Previous experience building community programs, managing social groups and chats is a plus
- Works well with a team but can take full responsibility for their goals and outcomes
