Dev(Sec)Ops Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Dev(Sec)Ops Lead to manage and lead our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, IAM, VPC, and Terraform, along with experience in CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and cloud security. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, automation, and integration while working within a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cloud infrastructure operations, focusing on GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, IAM, and VPC.
• Develop, deploy, and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for provisioning and scaling cloud resources.
• Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Automate operational tasks, using scripting languages to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure secure configurations of cloud resources and compliance with security best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices for cloud and DevOps.
• Monitor the performance of cloud-based applications and systems and address any performance issues proactively.
• Act as the primary point of contact for DevOps and SecOps initiatives, ensuring smooth communication and execution across teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, IAM, VPC, and other GCP services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell for automation and tasks.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and securing cloud resources.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
