You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to assess, identify, and implement DevSecOps best practices while ensuring seamless CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) integration in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in evaluating, designing, and implementing DevSecOps use cases. Your responsibilities will include defining CI/CD pipelines, integrating third-party tools, implementing automation, and setting up dashboards for key metrics. You will be involved in roadmap planning, process optimization, and defining best practices to enhance the organization's DevSecOps capabilities.

This is a 6-month B2B contract with a strong possibility of extension. The role requires Dublin-based candidates as onsite presence may be required when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and define DevSecOps use cases.
  • Understand project requirements and create a roadmap for implementation (short-term, mid-term, and long-term).
  • Provide recommendations for DevOps best practices, release management, tool consolidation, and process optimization.
  • Define and create CI/CD pipelines with integrations for third-party tools like SonarQube and Artifact Registry.
  • Build blueprints, reusable CI/CD templates, setup processes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts.
  • Implement self-service DevOps use cases and establish best practices for automation.
  • Execute pilot projects for CI/CD, IaC, and self-service initiatives.
  • Set up dashboards to monitor key DevSecOps KPIs and metrics (e.g., DORA).
  • Document existing processes and create best practice guidelines for future improvements.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Azure environments.
  • Strong expertise in DevSecOps methodologies, including security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in integrating DevSecOps tools like SonarQube, Artifact Registry, and container security solutions.
  • Experience in automating deployments and implementing self-service capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps operating models and best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in setting up dashboards to monitor KPIs and DORA metrics.
