About the Role

As a DevOps Specialist, you will play a key role in installing, configuring, and automating PLM platforms in both lower and production environments. Your expertise in reverse proxy, load balancers, cloud environments (AWS preferred), and CI/CD pipelines will be crucial in ensuring a seamless deployment process. You will also be responsible for integrating PLM platforms with other enterprise systems like ERP and optimizing infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.

This role is based in Meyrin, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

  • PLM System Deployment: Install, configure, and optimize PLM platforms, including multi-server production environments.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Implement cloud-based solutions, preferably in AWS, and manage infrastructure as code using HELM, Terraform, and Docker.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Design and implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and other DevOps tools.
  • Reverse Proxy & Load Balancing: Configure reverse proxy, load balancers, and optimize network setups across lower and production environments.
  • Scripting & Automation: Develop Shell/Batch scripts to automate routine tasks, streamline deployments, and enhance system efficiency.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Utilize Stack Trace, Dynatrace, and DataDog for monitoring and optimizing PLM platform performance.
  • Database Management: Work with Oracle and MS SQL databases to ensure optimal integration and data management.
  • Integration with ERP & Enterprise Systems: Design and implement integrations between PLM platforms and ERP systems for seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Production Support & Customer Communication: Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing PLM systems.
  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerization, messaging systems, and test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with reverse proxy, load balancers, and network configurations.
  • Proficiency in Helm, Terraform, Docker, and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to system automation and optimization.
