  • The DevOps/CI/CD Support Software Engineer is an integral part of the Development Team working in a dynamic, fast paced, agile environment.
  • The ideal candidate should have previous experience in supporting CI/CD pipeline and developing Terraform scripts and be able to jump onto any AWS technology-based projects upon joining.
  • The work will be around supporting CI/CD pipelines and developing process automation solutions using AWS technology.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment to build and support CI/CD pipelines of AWS projects.
  • Develop Terraform scripts for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure resources.
  • Continuously improve and optimize deployment processes for efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to build CI pipelines and troubleshoot issues in project release.Work closely with CI/CD team to maintain and manage CI/CD tools and pipelines and support the full automation of CI.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenancy and SaaS principles as a service provider and incorporate them in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout the project life cycle and ensure delivery of automation solutions with high quality.
  • Document detailed application specification and technical design.
  • Perform production support of system including environment setup, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Provide development support to technical POCs based on instructions/guidance from Architects.
  • Able to work on multiple initiatives in parallel with competing priorities.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development and CICD/DevSecOps experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in scripting/programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience in CICD/DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in working with Terraform IaC and key features, Execution Plans, State files etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in Container technologies such as Docker Hub, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS/ROSA, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience/knowledge in environment/system monitoring and troubleshooting with tools such as AWS Cloud Watch, AWS X-Ray, Sumo Logic, Dynatrace, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience/knowledge in AWS technologies such as Step functions, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, etc.
  • Familiarity with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and related technologies.
  • AWS Certified professional preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly articulate status of requests and issues both with IT and business partners.
  • Previous working experience in the mortgage (or other financial) industry is a plus.
