DevOps Role Requirements & Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of dedicated DevOps experience (not limited to app team members performing DevOps tasks).
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal handholding and take full ownership of tasks.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Terraform (mandatory).
  • Any major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Databricks (preferred).
• Exposure to large-scale data operations or API-driven environments is acceptable.
• Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes) is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.
  Desired Candidate Attitude
• Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and environments.
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability without the need for close supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset when interfacing with application teams.
  Distinction from FinOps & SecOps
• FinOps responsibilities are handled exclusively by the client.
• SecOps scope is limited to vulnerability patching as a byproduct of DevOps work.
• Candidates are not expected to perform dedicated FinOps or SecOps functions.
